About the Band
Formed in 2007, the Rhythm Brewers are one of the Tri-States' premier original bands,
with a reputation as a fun, crowd-pleasing outfit playing a unique blend of music that has been described
as "backwoods boogie". The band has performed at many of the established musical venues and
festivals in the Tennessee/Virginia/North Carolina area, and received regular radio and internet airplay.

A mix of country, blues, bluegrass, folk, rock and groove. Set list is generally a 50-50 combination
of original material and lesser-known and obscure covers, customizable depending on venue. The band's
sound and style has been compared to that of the Band, Old Crow Medicine Show, the Gourds, and the Grateful Dead.

- The band's original song "God, Guns, NASCAR" was featured at the NFL's 2013 Super Bowl and received
regular rotation on the NASCAR cup circuit and Tennessee Titan home games.
- The band has appeared on bills alongside Carrie Rodriguez, the Black Lillies, Folk Soul Revival,
the New Familiars, and the Wood Brothers.
Member Bios
Joe Martin - Vocal, guitar - New Jersey native, past member of Tri-cities bands Red Rain, Serpentine Brown and Drive South.
Marion Dunn - Vocals, bass - Memphis native, played and recorded at the legendary Staxx Studios and with longtime Memphis musical fixtures Rock-it! and Next of Kin.
Lonny Finley - Vocals, mandolin, guitar - Alabama native, veteran local musician and director of King College's band and instrumental activities program.
Jeff Dean - Vocals, drums, percussion - Hailing from Telford, longtime Tri-cities drummer, past member of Johnny Echo & the Reverb, Serpentine Brown, RC & the Moonpies, and Uncle Boogie.

Equipment & Technical Requirements
Instrumentation used by the Rhythm Brewers is acoustic and electric in nature and is adjustable
depending on the venue, atmosphere and crowd expectation; the band is equally comfortable in a fully
acoustic or electric setting or any mixture thereof. Space and equipment needs are minimal. The band
maintains its own PA system and sound technician where a house system is not available but is equally
comfortable utilizing existing and custom venue setups.
Stage Setup
Stage setup is typical for a four-piece band and consists of:
- Compact drum kit with overhead and kick drum microphone & wireless vocal microphone, rear center stage;
- Bass guitar, Bass amp w/line-out PA feed, vocal microphone, stage left;
- Acoustic & electric guitar, electric amp w/line-out PA feed, vocal microphone, center stage
- Acoustic mandolin & electric guitar, electric amp w/line-out PA feed, vocal microphone, stage right.
- Minimum of two front-of-stage monitors and one rear monitor for drummer;
